City Information

In this "city of 1000 spires" you'll discover Gothic cathedrals and Baroque palaces, bustling streets and squares, and fascinating museums and galleries. Explore at your leisure, or relax in one of the Art Nouveau cafes, modern espresso bars, or pubs selling the local Pilsner beer.

Itinerary

Day One

Fly to Prague's Ruzyne Airport and transfer to your hotel. In the evening you can dine at the hotel, or find a restaurant or pub in the city.

Day Two

Make your own way into the city centre for our included guided tour. Join the crowds watching the astronomical clock in the Old Town Square strike the hour with a procession of wooden figures. Afterwards explore Stare Mesto (the Old Town), the former Jewish quarter - once home to Franz Kafka - and modern Nove Mesto's famous Wenceslas Square.

Day Three

Join our guide again, and cross the famous Charles Bridge to Hradcany, dominated by Prague's ancient castle, St Vitus' Cathedral and the Royal Palace. After this included tour, you're free to wander. Visit Hradcany's art galleries, see the miniature cottages of Golden Lane and take the funicular to Petrin for panoramic views.

Later on, you may wish to join our optional lunch cruise along the River Vlatava - the perfect way to bid farewell on your last day in the city.

Day Four

Transfer back to the airport for check-in and your flight home.
